"The Trouble With Fluoridation" will be the theme of a program Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in the Fox Room of the Rutland Free Library from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The event will feature one of several excellent videos that support the case against fluoridation.
Our multi-colored flyer, 10 Facts About Fluoride, will be available, with extra copies available to those who wish to distribute it in their neighborhoods.
We will also look ahead toward gathering signatures for a referendum vote at the city's annual meeting next March on fluoridation. The ballot question, which can only be advisory, will probably read: Shall the commissioner of public works fluoridate the public water supply of Rutland? Since our water is now fluoridated, a "no" vote would be a vote to end fluoridation.
